Hours of Operation.  Are you working 24/7 or something less? For example, you may be open 6 days a week or you may work 20 hours a day.   

Coverage Requirements. Do you need the same number of people working at all times or does it vary by time of day or day of the week? For example, you may need 3 on day and evening shifts and 1 on night shift, or you may need 6 on weekday shifts and 2 on weekend shifts.  

Staff Size. How many employees do you have? Please do not include supervisors if they are not part of the coverage requirements.

Preferred Shift Length. This may be dictated by your hours of operation, but what are your preferences?   

Fixed or Rotating Shifts. What is your preference?

Overtime. Most 24/7 schedules require a small amount of overtime to be built into the schedule. Additional overtime will be necessary to cover absences (vacations, illness, training, etc.) Do you have any restrictions on overtime that is built into the schedule?  

Pay Week. When does you pay week begin (for overtime calculation purposes?
